YES IT DOES ELIMINATE THE XM, I JUST SPOKE WITH SOUNDGATE AND THEY ARE DEVELOPING AN INTERFACE THAT WILL SWITCH BETWEEN THE TWO SOURCES. THAT INTERFACE IS ABOUT 3 MONTHS AWAY..
