installing sub and amp..

I'm installing a 15 inch mofo Power acoustic and a Mono Amp in my trunk i gotta cap and stuff...are there any special wires or connecters i need to hook it up to my bose unit for it to work?!

well you need a line level converter, to get the signal to your amp.
just hook it on to the 6x9's speaker wire...

so pretty much just hook the sub up to my 6x9's? and run a power wire to my battery... where can i get a line level converter and how much do they usually cost?

Which way would b easiest to run a power wire for my sub?

my friend wanted to rip off some of the carpet and put it under the carpet is that a good way?!

well the power wire goes fromt eh batery, through the firewall, then under the side door sill/ carpet, under the backseat, into teh trunk into the amp. then the speaker wire should just go from the amp into the box, and be connected to the sub, assuming its going magnet in...

so i got ya...so get the sound going u want me to run a wire from my 6x9's to my amp and a wire from my amp to the box/sub....?!

Dude, not to sound like a dick...and I know everyone has to start learning somewhere...but if you don't know this BASIC stuff, maybe you should have someone else do it for you. Ask questoins, watch, learn, but as far as doing it by yourself; i'm not sure how smart that is. You could short out your amp...etc and then you'd be pissed. Might as well have it done the right time the first time and do your best to learn.

Learn to solder, heat shrink....learn what terminals you need to use....how to hide wire...and just do the job cleanly and properly.

Seriously, I think you'd bennift from some help on this one.
