Question Installation Opinion

I have a 02' TL-S, non-navi. I have on order an Eclipse In dash motorized screen and an in-dash 6 disc changer also by Eclipse.

Now here's my question:
When I have the pieces installed, should I place the two pieces within the din of the stock radio or should I have the installer get rid of the sliding pocket above the radio and have them use all that space?

Can't decide I've seen pics of both installs on other TL's/CL's on this board. I was wondering if there is any advantage for either install or just personal preference. Please help. Thanks in advance.

i think that it is all personal preference... me i had a similar set up with pioneer products... i put the tv on the bottom so when the screen was deployed it would not block the ac buttons.. but other than that i removed the tray just because i didnt like the way it looked with the new headunit...

Which head unit are you getting? I'm going with the CD8053 and in-dash changer. I've decided to loose the tray and space things out. Seems to look better that way IMHO.

Master-G: I'm getting the av8132 in dash screen and the in dash changer.
Thanks for everyone's opinion, I think I will end up losing the tray. But now which piece should go on top?

I would definitely put the av8132 on top so that it doesn't get in the way of the changer. This will, however, probably cover part of the climate control knobs but not to the point were they can't be accessed.
