input for dvd

Hi Guys

I am wanting to install an alpine dvd unit, using doms navi converter that has been sitting and collecting dust for a month now. I read some of the how-to instructions but I still have one question. I am not sure how am I going to input the sound to the car. It is an 06 Canadian TSX so it has an aux port which I could use, but would prefer to keep that open for any other devices I might want to use down the road.

Im thinking that I need one of those usa-spec or dice units everyone talks about. Or is there a cheaper alternative if you don't care for the ipod integration?

Also the units mentioned above say they have an extra auxiliary input for rca's which is what I would probably use to run from the dvd drive, but my question is... how do you switch input on the unit ? Would I need to run an additional switch somewhere, like I am already doing for doms unit?

thanks in advance
arrush

any of the standalone aux solutions, you switch to with the car's existing audio buttons, either the 'mode' on the steering wheel or 'xm / aux' on the dash. No need for another external switch.
