infinity bass link owners
2003 3.2 cl-s
im kind of torn between putting my 2 10's in, or changing all my interior speakers, or putting in a bass link. basically i want my car to sound good, but not pounding so that u can hear me from a mile away. i wanna leave my head unit stock.
i just wanna know what you bass link owners think about yours. i used to have a bazooka tube in one of my cars a while back and it was ok, but it didnt sound anything like a sub.
how much is it, and how does it sound, and how do you control the bass. basically can someone tell me what to look for, what to look out for, any insight?

I recommend getting the basslink 1st.Some of the benefits are:
1. Easy to install
2. Big improvement in the bass response, but not so much that you are heard a mile away.
3. No extra amplifier needed.
4. it can use line or speaker level inputs.
5. Wired remote control is easy to install and use.
6. Can revert your car back to stock in no time.
7. I doesn't take very much space in the trunk.
Now, if I remember correctly I paid $298.00 shipped and with the remote control included from an internet source (just shop around in the internet). You should spend a little extra on getting quality audio cables if you are tapping from the line level inputs to the stock amp and a good amplifier power kit (You know power cable, fuse, ground cable).
Getting the basslink 1st allows you to determine if you would be satisfied with that or if you may want to replace the stock speaker and add a power amp later on.
I am very happy with mine.

Basslink??
Are there different types of Basslinks for the CL-S - I'm looking on their website, and I definitely want to get one, but there are like 24 of them - all with different subs...
What do you recommend??
I want some sound, but I don't need to blow the windows out. My Lexus IS300 has an amazing stereo, great bass, my Acura is a bit lacking...

There are only 2 Infinity Basslinks. One is housed in black, the other (new) is housed in clear/light bluish plastic. Both are identical subs though. I think it's a great addition to the stock system and it definitely conserves trunk space. Hits hard enough for me... besides I already have enough rattles in the car!

the best price ive seen is off ebay, i think i remember seeing it around 200 shipped. (Some with the remote). Ive heard nothing but good things about the basslink, so i would say go for the basslink. If you have a circuit city around you, i know they carry the basslink, just go listen to it to make sure its what you want, but dont buy it from them.
