I was thinking Eclipse or Pioneer.....any thoughs???

How much $? I can get the Eclipse for $1900.

Clarion VRX925VD I have not read any reviews on it though, and its been out for a few months. Any1 else know about it?

I saw the Eclipse and I thought it had the clearest picture of anything that I have seen.

i would steer clear of the pioneer... i have had mine for like 4 months and it has been in and out of the shop the whole 4 months... 1st the screen started acting up, then a dvd got stuck in the dvd player... now i am just sorry that i bought this unit instead of spending the extra money and getting the eclipse.... oh well you live and you learn...

Kenwood KVT911DVD and a Kenwood 20GB music keg to go with that....
I had this setup for 4 months, and very happy with it.....

I just looked at the new Clarion unit...its a 7" touch screen...$1900+$250 for the install!!!

Get the eclipse...that's some high quality car audio shit...makes pioneer + kenwood look like trash.

The Pioneer would cost $3000 installed....I would think Clarion is better, and I'd save $700 too!!!!

It will be a tough one, b/c customer service people at Clarion are
full of shit....
Try going to any authorized Clarion retailer in your area, and check with them...But make sure this dealer sells other brands of flip down units besides the Clarion. This way, they are not pressured into selling Clarion units and will be more honest with you about the quality of it....

The place I go to sells Alpine and Pioneer as well as Clarion....the guy was really pushing the Pioneer....but then I asked him about clarion and he gave me a brochure. He said that he had 3 units a month ago and they all sold within a week, so if I want it, I'd have to order it.
