I picked a Nav system!!

Hey guys Im new to the forum but I've owned my Acura TL(second gen) since Sept. Before That I had a Honda Civic EX so looks like I'm pretty entrenched into the Honda family. Anyway, ever since my mom got her MDX in October I loved that navigation system. I wish my TL came with one but mine didn't, so I've been looking at many of them. The one that really got my attention was the TOMTOM Go for $600. It seemed nice and I almost got it but the I read some issues with it in the north east (not everything is on it). I also looked into the Navman 510($400), but the maps for it were old (2003 I believe) and support was weak. Another failing is that they depended on Flash memory, and compared to the MDX's DVD based navigation they are kinda limited. Well today I went to order the TomTom GO (cheap but good support...so in the future it could get better..free updated) but it was sold out. I then Heard of this nav. system from Lowrance that instread of flash it used a preloaded 20gb Hard Drive with the map for north america (I dont think I''ll be driving to Mexico, but Canadia is definitly in the cards) it also doubles as an MP3 player. I looked for review on it but could not find any helpful ones (helpful=negative, meaning I get to see the worse side of whatever I'm buying) I found a handfull but they were too positive. I decided to take the plunge and buy the Lowrance 500c, It cost $680 which was just a bit more then the TOMTOM unit. I'll tell you guys what I think when I get it(should be here tuesday) I prolly should of asked this before ordering it but, what Nav. Systems do you guys use? How are they?

i prefer the custom look. if i were to put navi in my tl which i plan on doing in a few months, i plan on purchasing the full OEM navi off ebay and installing it. its roughly a grand for all the parts.
