I Need To Upgrade My Speakers Bad!!!
I need help from you guys experts on speakers...
what I would like to know is what size speakers I need to buy and tweeter and also if there any brand you can recommend that would make an improvement in the sound of my TSX.
SO FAR, I know the speaker in the back are 6x9 and that is it.
I am considering gettin everything Pioneer ... I had it on my accord and they did wonders
Thank you for you help guys

Tweeters in front: obviously only high frequencies
front door: Full range, minus the tweeter frequencies (don't know what the cutoff frequency is..but pretty high)
Rear door: Full range, but no bass. I think the cutoff is from 80Hz to 120Hz..
Rear Deck: Bass only
I recommend switching out the doors with 2-way speakers, and a 6 x 9 speakers to improve on the bass. Tweeter replacement would be good also if you want good highs and definition.

From my experience, swapping out the 6x9 won't actually kill the bass, but makes it tighter and clearer. No woofers can match a subwoofer though. The stock woofers are very muddled, so they sound like they have more bass
Changing out the door speakers will be an improvement. Sounds are actually louder and clear

well first off what are your intentions ? do you want more bass or sq? one thing you must need to know is that just by upgrading you system to better components will not automatically yeild better sound. better bass but not necessarily sound. some ppl buy the greatest gear but their system sound worse than stock, but it may have better bass. upgrading your system to "sound" better is a tough task and takes ALOT of effort. so before you run out and buy some equipment ask yourself what you are trying to accomplish. if you are a sq guy than there needs to be TONS of tuning to balance everything out. dropping in better speakers will not gaurantee better sound.
