I Need Help Quick!!!!!!!

OK GUYS.......

I have a 2002 TL-S and i have two amps and one sub hooked into my factory headunit, to be specific i have the following,

Alpine MRD-M1001--- 1000 watt RMS 1800 watt MAX MONO amplifier
Alpine MRV-F340--- 500 x 4 chanel amplifer
Alpine Type X 1224 D 12" inch subwoofer in a Ported box
One Stinger "ONE FARAD" cap
4 GAUGE wiring
2 100A Circut Breakers one in the back one in the front

NOW......................

My amps are stacked on top of each other in a pyramid thats how they were installed and my mono amp is going into protect and im not sure why its only when i turn the volume up and the highs will cut out and then the bass will cut out after. I cannot figure out why this keeps happening and how to stop it but i need help. i am taking my car in to the shop where it was done tommorrow i do have an apointment. but is there anything you guys can throw at me to help fix this problem..

and my 2nd question is you TL'ers know how the car's trunk is shaped right. now whats a good place to put my amps so they will keep cool and what else can i do to keep em from gettin soooo hot. i figure fans but then i thought it would keep Stale hot air circulating. ?????????? i need help guys thanks in advance

A simple amp rack so the amps are not on top of each other would help. The amps you have installed are not enclosed are they?

The fact that multiple amps are going into shutdown at nearly the same time implies that you have a voltage problem.

A speaker impedance/speaker short problem would NOT affect both amps.

You might have a temp issue but I doubt that the shutdowns would be so close together.

But as far as the exclamation points and the stress, let the guys that did the work take a look at it. We are just pulling stuff out of our ass...

Breathe into a paper bag, and let us know after you have them check it out.

We're not going anywhere, but let the guys who own a voltmeter check it out, K?

My system is hooked up thru my factory headunit i have hi low converters

they said the blown speakers were sendin a short signal back to the amps and made em go in to protect mode so they cut off. thats just what they told me. does that soound like bull shit? i mean since they unplugged the speakers, the amp has never cut out.

IF both amps were connected to the shorted speakers, then yeah, that would happen. Stragne way to hook up amps in a car with F and R preamp outputs...

do you think its necessary to go and have a BETTER shop reinstall everything and then see what happens? its not that money isn't an issue but i'd love to have everything done RIGHT ONCE but it never happens to me!
