I just got a system!

Does anyone know how to stop the rattling in the trunk...I installed two 12's pushing 600 watts and the trunk rattles lil...so any suggestions will be welcome..i got pics of it in the Gallery!

try new weatherstripping? im not all familiar to well with trunk rattling, but PM ron.

first try tightening the license plate if it continues check the brake light in the back window make sure it's tight sometimes that makes a weird noise then if it still makes noise soundproof the the trunk lid and then u will have no probs

I used the weather stripping idea.....and it works fairly well....now I gotta see how long it will last.

You can also use dampening material...and soundproofing sprays...

the light on my spoiler rattles or my spoiler rattles...what can i do to stop that???

Well, I assume you mean that your bass is making your spoiler rattle. I can't really imagine how you'd even hear the light ON your spoiler rattling so I'll graze over that. But well what you can do, like I said, is install dampening material...either the sprays that a lot of people use, or Dynamat (material), or both. I've had good results with Dynamat...everywhere from dampening inside computers to dampening inside door compartments. I'd try that. But let me ask, is your box firing into your trunk? If so that'd be your problem in a nutshell...as our trunks are pretty air tight as far as trunks go, and moving all that air will make them rattle...hence it's better to fire it into the cabin of the car, which is what I'm going to do. Give me a better picture of your setup (explain)

yea..it is pretty much hitting the trunk lid..so you are sayin to turn it around and fire it towards the cabin??
