i have some Sound problems...
i have just installed a 4 chann fosgate amp with the stock headunit and speakers except for the tweeters... now it has a very loud statics sound...... i know that s kinda normal ( i used 2 hi-low converters.. RCA converters.. noise filter and etc) and all of a sudden it became even worse.... sometimes the music from my front speakers would just became LoudER stactics noise and stop working.. but my rear speakers r fine...
anybody installed 4 chan amp with stock headunits here??
tell me if u have the same problem.....
Dude.... someone help me plz.. i cant drive without music!

These are two ways to connect the stock systems
1/ Stock HU -> Stock amp -> Hi/Low Converters -> RF Amp -> speakers (all, including tweeters).
or
2/ Stock HU -> Soldered RCA cables (to stock HU output) (no stock amp) -> RF Amp -> Speakers (all, including tweeters).
Option 1 give out louder sound with a little noise, not noticable (sp?) with music on.
Option 2 give cleaner sound.
Either way, you will get static if you set the gain too high on the RF amp.

you might wanna check all your connections...specially the rca connections to the aftermarket amp. i had the same problem. it was not alternator noise. there were times when the static would be really loud....there was a time when my front right speaker would just die. i checked the rca connections on my amp and the monster cables i had were loose. so i tightened them up and have not gotten the static noise since then.

yup...you can...but it's not a 6 in-dash cd player. you can get an aftermarket 6 in-dash cd-player by nakamichi but that costs about $450. then you'll have to have the face plate custom made, brackets and everything....cost much more i think. that's what i intend to do and am trying to save up to do it.

Exactly. While most CD players are fairly cheap now, you cannot find a 6 disc in dash changer for cheap. Also, it's not easy to get your hands on a nice custome faceplate. And you will need an EQ or something to fill the oversized dash area.
