I am an IDIOT

I had been having problems with my sub not working the last few months. I finally take to a friend to look at it, and all it was was a fuse that cost $3. Thank god It works again.

Damn i'm going to have to agree with your topic line. :p Isnt that the first thing everyone checks when their sub doesnt work? Well congrats on fixing it atleast

I checked the ones in the amp itself. Forgot about the one by the battery.

You meant your amp didnt work, right? Cuz your sub has nothing to do with the fuse

yea, the end result was no low frequency noise emminating from my subwoofer.

The guys at audio express told me that if I wrap my blown fuse with aluminum foil and reapply it I will never blow a fuse again...interesting logic.
