ok i just give up on hte factory headunit.. I might be gettin the Alpine CDA7897 or ClarionADZ the double din one. Ultimate Audio said they will build the kit for it and will make it match the factory panel but if they dont where can i get a woodtrim piece??? I will post picks when my system is done.

 

ok i just ordered the piece that acuratl2002 used from select products. But any pictures of HU in the TL would be nice.

yea i like ordered that piece sunday night at like 1:00 o clock and got it yesterday and i was damn thats pretty fast..And that wood piece matches the TL perfectly. Thanx for the help..

i am guessing he got it from www.selectproducts.com and it is the florintine wood trim...

the peice comes as a sheet of abs laminate and you have to cut it....

 

Talk to Ron at StreetEffectz (ron@streeteffectz.com). He is a very good installer up in NJ from what I have heard. His work has also been featured on magazine covers. I saw a BMW he did in the mag and it was really nice. By the way, his service is top notch.

Anyway, contact him and he can take care of making you a wooden trim ring if you give him the exact template for trim ring. I believe he has an Acura because he often posts here.
