Which HU is better?

Which HU is better?

Since I dont know much about head units, which one of these would you guys recommend?

Sony CDX-F5705X

or

Panasonic MXE CQ-C5410U

I like the panasonic. If you're going to be running aftermarket amps, be sure to get the panasonic. Both have 3 sets of pre-out with crossovers and non fading sub outs, but the panasonic is 5 volt vs sony's 2 volt. You sound quality through aftermarket amps would be much better.

Other than that, they seem fairly comperable. If you're not going to build a system around it, I say chose whatever you think looks best.

just about anything is better than Sony for decks.

go with the panasonic.

Thanks for the advice, i was kind of edging on the panasonic, but didnt know what their reputation was.

Basically, i'm gonna use the HU to power the inside speakers, then later get a 1 or 2 channel amp and run a small sealed sub. Also the panasonic has an aux in which is VERY handy for my iPod...
