How would I do this?
I want to rig up some kind of relay to close my moonroof whenever I exit my car. It is a "dumb" moonroof (car is a 94 legend), so it does not know if it's open or closed, and the motor will run as long as the circuit is open. I would need something that would allow power long enough for the roof to close and then shut off. Is there a kind of relay or circuit that would perform this function?
Luckily it had just started raining when I remembered the roof was open. I'm getting sick of leaving the damn thing open.

The sunroof does not tilt. It just opens and closes.
I don't have an aftermarket alarm, although I'm planning on getting one and putting it in myself sometime in the future. I have the factory service manual which contains wiring diagrims of all of the car's systems.

maybe the vtr7 or versitimer. i know directed (makers of viper alarm) had a timer module. you probably want to use the driver door to activate the closing, but also use the ignition to deactivate the module. i believe the stock system should have electrical threshold sensors to stop the motors.
