How many square feet needed roughly to fully dynamat 2000 TL Trunk?

 

how many layers do you plan on doing it??? i say about 25-30 sq ft should be good....

Nice. Thanks. Dunno about the layers. You people always give me something else to think about lol :-) Talking about one 10inch JL Audio W6 or W7 sealed enclosure in the trunk. So Dunno how much may be needed but will find out :-)

 

i did double layer in my trunk.. i bought it bulk on ebay.. like 100 sq ft... so what i did was single layer first.. then tested it to see what type of result i got.. didn't like it so i added another layer and it sounded alot better... there are other brands out there other than dynamat that do a good job... check into that, and you can save some money...

 

Personally I only did the non OEM insulated areas of the trunk,1/4 panels, and doors (2 bulk packs) with the dynamate xtreme. A little is alot compared to bare metal. YOU can go cheap but you might end up buying a dud. My brothers truck is a monster with (4) JL W7 13.5s and he used 9 bulk packs. If you go dynamat that shit ain't light. Hope this helps.
