For your system being to loud.

About a 1/2 a year ago (in my beratta) i got pulled over and when the ass of a cop walked up to my window and he said, "do you know why i pulled you over" No "you were in violation of section blah blah blah 112,... as i am shaking my head at him... your radio was two loud, please get out of the car." At the time I had two 12" eclipse's and a 500 W pioneer amp. I didn't have my radio up very loud at all (volume 10) i was right behind this cop at a stop light and didn't think my radio was up at all so didn't even turn it down. well we started to move and this cop hit his brakes and i went by him and he had his windows down. Any who to make this long story not quite as long i ended up taking it to court. Before my court date i ended up talking to a couple of police officers and told them about my situation. They told me if they can hear your system 500 ft away then i should get a ticket. (which i wasn't.. more like 100 ft max) I then told this cop the guy's name that stopped me and he was like "well you won't be hearing much from him anymore...because he shot somebody.)

Well i ended up taking it to court and the cop never showed so i got out of it, otherwise i would of been out 50 dollars.

I was just wondering how many of you have got tickets for your car stereo being to loud.

I have, and it was bullshit. It wasnt even up that loud, yet the cop tells me he could hear it from over 500 ft away. He couldnt have been more than 150 ft when i turned into the parking lot, and not only that, does he have a "measure" to see exactly how far away i was? I was gonna take it to court, but, at the time i didnt have any insurance, so i was like fuck it, just pay the 47 bucks.
