how to bench test an amp ..?

i just bought a used eclipse amp off of ebay and its not gunna be installed for a while ( money issues) but there is a non DOA warranty on it

how to i go about testing it ?

well you can use some 12v power and stick a wire in teh remote turn on lead... if you just want to see it turn on.

otherwise youd need a source and a speaker

take it in to a shop, most will have the stuff set up. should be very cheap, if they even charge you at all.
