hooking up xm radio to factory radio.

Can someone explain to me basically what i need to buy so that I can hardwire my xm reciever to an 04 TSX through the AUX input? I don't want to unnecessarily open up the dash to see what is required as others have posted that doing so may scratch it. Using the fm modulator provides a very crappy sound quality. Thanks in advance.

Just search. All you need is an aux adapter. There are 3 or 4 different plug-and-play models for the TSX. Then its a straight shot of RCAs from your sat radio to the adapter, and the adapter plugs right into the car and enables a new "CD-C" aux mode.

I use the usa spec pa11-hon2y. It appears the new dice units may also be a reliable solution, I'm trying to verify 100% that they have aux inputs in addition to the iPod functionality. Maybe our new user from Dice can chime in here.

As he mentioned in another thread, its the Dice R3 for non-navi, and R4 for navi vehicles.
The usa spec pa11-hon2y is a universal adapter, works with both. Check prices / supply availble to you.
