I got a friend with an 05 honda accord with the factory radio (non-navi, 6disk changer) and he wants to upgrade his audio. He wants to keep the factory radio, be wants more bass and more clarity.

I was taking a look at the car and realized it wasn't as simple as the installs in the tl's were. How do I hook up the wiring to the car exactly since the accord only has 2 channel audio with no subs? Do I need to use and audio processor or something?

This is what I was thinking of doing, not sure how good the idea is though:

Stock HU - stock AMP - aftermarket amp - cross-over #1 (split the signal, send the lower one to the subs and the higher ones to the speakers) - crossover #2 where the signal is split for the tweeters and included mid-range speakers.

Would this work at all? Are there any better ways to get this done?
