Hon/aux Dmx V.1

I just received my Blitzsafe adapter, and after looking at it had a question. The unit appears to have a single plug that goes to my CD port and then two RCA jacks, which I assume are left & right auxillary inputs. I see no where to plug in the factory original CD changer (6 disc in-dash changer).

Am I correct in thinking to use the aux. inputs I will have to sacrifice my factory CD changer unit?

The instructions say to activate the unit, just press the CD button on the headunit. No mention of press once for factory changer; twice for auxillary source!

Did you get the correct one? There are different adapters with different sets of pass-thrus (for cd changer), etc...

That should be the one. You don't need to "plug in the factory original CD changer." It will be accessed just as it says, press the cd button once and it'll access the indash changer, press the cd button twice and it will access the auxillary inputs.

Thank-you for the assistance, the install when according to schedule, although it took me all afternoon. The Blitzsafe is performing as described.

Going to go for a drive and listen to the new tunes. The iPod sounds much better going direct rather than FM modulator.
