Im looking at a 6000k DDM kit. my questions are
what is the bulb type?
35 or 55 wattage?
do i need any extra wiring harnesses?

This belongs in your model specific forum just fyi. 55 watt can put of more heat which can burn up/melt things. And it's always better to use a relay but not necessary.

And asking what bulb,really? Go out to your car and pull one out and find out.

 

you will need to cut wires switching ballasts i think, why not just get bulbs? something wrong with your ballasts?

 

ballast on the drivers side died so i am replacing both

 

If you use a 55w ballast, you need to upggrade factory harness.

 

its most likely a d2c bulb like most of the newer acuras and there is never a need to upgrade to a 55w bulb do to the fact that 35w applications produce more than enough light coverage and unless you buy a cheap ebay hid kit you dont need to run relays on them due to the fact that it will be plug and play but if you get a blinking or flickering then you would run a resistor and relay harness inline

 

thanks. i already ordered a 35 watt 6000k kit with the raptor ballasts from ddm. and the bulb is a d2r not a d2c
