Different HID projectors around the world

Ok I've been reading some things on the net about getting different HID bulbs and what not and come across a site that was saying something about the differences between HID projectors in different parts of the worl. So I was wandering if anyone has compared the progectors for the TSX with some from the European and Japanese Accords. Can someone with either the European/JDM headlights take some pictures of what the lights look like from the driver seat? It would be much apprciated. I like the look of the JDM/European headlights with the clear corners but I would like there to possibly be a better reason to buy them. Thanks again for any help you can give me with this

Well, in Japan they drive on the other side of the road, so their beam pattern isnt something you want on your car. If you want clear corners, just go to a tuner shop and have them do it for you.
Besides a reverse beam pattern, I dont think there is any benefit to JDM projectors.

I realize the differeance between the LH/RH drive systems but they do have LH drive ecode headlights. From the pics that I've seen they have a broader cut off at the top and output more light. I was just wandering if the TSX in Euro has a LH or RH drive system. If anyone can clear that up for me I would appreciate it.

IMHO, it's mostly cosmetics. if you really want to see better, just use the fog lights. you would get more for less money. and if it's not enough, get an HID kit for your fogs.

Depending on the clearance of the interior of the foglight, that may not be possible due to the length clearance issues of HID bulbs. Also, fog lights are not made to extend visible light, they are made to cut through fog and inclement weather at slow speeds because their downcast is relatively short (15-30 degrees). Not to mention in some states, running fog lights when it is NOT needed is considered illegal and sometimes even a primary offense (Washington, Oregon for example). Plus IMHO it looks retarded when people use foglights on a perfectly clear day.

Euro HID patterns are not much different from NA patterns. They provide a sharp right slant right cut off _/---_/--- to prevent glare to oncoming traffic and to light up right hand sides. In countries where RHD is present, the rule applies vice sersa. What I have noticed on cars in Europe when I was there is that the cutoff is slightly higher due to road conditions and laws _/--^_/--^. So there is a lot more visible light up top, but unnecessary for everyday driving or for everyday use.
