hi and low pass????

hi and low pass????

Does the stock HU need a hi and low pass converter so you can run it to the amp???

yes you do. you can either get a LOC or solder rca connectors to the outputs of the head unit. either way, folks have been successful in connecting aftermarket amps.....but like me, some are getting minimal hiss at low volumes...but not noticeable when playing music or driving. there another way you can connect aftermarket amps to the stock head unit. go to this link.... http://www.linkmeup.com/ . it's the pd4 for a 4 channel converter.

also, there're lots of topics too on using LOC in this forum. just do a search on LOC and you should get a lot of results.

did this answer your question cuz i wasn't really sure what you meant by Hi-pass and Low-pass? those terms are usually used for frequency cut offs on amps.

JDTypeS, You may wanna check your source again. I never heard of low-pass and high-pass convertor. Filters yes, convertors no.
