Hi beam and fog light bulbs matching

Hello all,

I am thinking replacing the Hi Beam and the OEM fog bulbs to better match the OEM low HID. Can anyone share a good online source? And what type of bulbs will I need for the Hi and the fog?

Thanks in advance,

Sam

I have my high beams upgraded, and I also wanted to upgrade my foglights but I don't know what type of bulbs they are. For my high beams, I used PIAA H1 Xtreme White, and yes they are brighter and whiter than the stock high beams. They are pretty close to the HID's. You can tell that there is a hint of blue and they aren't yellow-looking like the stock bulbs.

Hello 3Pedal,

I found the fog light info via the following link on page 10:

Also, may I ask what wattage did you get for your PIAA H1 Hi beam replacement?

Thanks ,

Sam

Fogs are H11, 55W bulbs. If you want a nice match, you can get a pair of xenonmatch bulbs from Hoen: www.hoen-usa.com

I don't have them yet on my car (maybe this summer), but others have had them installed on theirs. They look great
If you want, you can do a search for other threads on replacing fogs and there's a few pics floating around also.

Fogs are H11s but not to many manufacturers make them. I had to buy a Japanese brand for my fogs. I ended up with a an 85 Watt bulb. I am going to try to change them to something else soon.

I bought PIAA H1 X-treme Cool Blue White Light (4000K) Highs. Bought them for $45 from a friend. I think they retail for about $70. These would be the best choice for High Beams.
