Here is what I got for amp/woofer

I ordered a PG Ti600 amp with a Kicker 12" Solobaric Square sub.
and will retain my HU.

Has anyone done an amp/woofer addition and changed their speakers??? I have checked 2 installers and they think that I cannot swap out the speakers since it is linked to the Bose system as a whole. I have Infinity Kappas front/back speakers which I took out from my other car. If they do not work, then it will make a nice X'mas gift to my borther..

Thanks

if you wanna change the speakers, you have to change the amp to power them as well.

Yeah Bose kinda bent us over on that one. I added an amp/sub to the stock system and it sounds really good! There are some frequencies that get lost but besides that I like it.

So, it is true that the stock HU with stock amp will not work with my Infinity Kappas????

Good to hear that the amp/sub makes a diiference. I was beginning to worry about all the money spent.

The Infinity Kappas go with industry standard impedance setting while Bose decided to make their setting so you have to either leave everything or yank everything out which I did

What's your opinion on this Amp ? Do you sell it ? Price ?
Can you give me -- in Basic Terms -- the differences between Class D Amps and PreAmps ?
