just installed alpine 3-way 6'9's on deck. and alpine type-s components in the door. v-power alpine 4 channel amp. my 6'9's are perfect, and can take all of the amps power. but some how i ran into a problem with the component set, they hardley play...when the amp is cut up they cut off. please help,and yes, i did by-pass the amp. (all parts are brand new, w 505 alpine mulitmedia system)

 

I would take that right back to your installer and have the guy install the stuff correctly.
