Are there any options to fixing the navigation screen? it works fine, however you can't see very well on the bottom and sides where it has bubbled up. The touch screen works well, but it is very unsightly. An oem navi costs about $1000!

 

I haven't heard of any fixes for just the screen; I'd definitely roll a high-end double DIN Pioneer, Alpine, etc. to at least gain USB, SD, voice control and bluetooth. I know that's not the 'factory-clean' option, but at least the grand out of pocket would be justified by some modern features.

 

I would check scrap yards and eBay and try to find a replacement outside of OEM cost.

Thanks guys. I bought a used navigation on ebay for less than a fifth of the cost through Acura. Now I just need to install it. Can anyone give me some tips on how to remove the old navi and install the new one. I unscrewed the two screws on the panel behind the steering wheel and have actually been able to unscrew the three screws on the navi itself, but I can't seem to get it out. I've looked around here, googled and youtubed and can't find any guides. It seems like I'm the only one who has ever had an issue with this.
