Help on mp3 (iPod) with OEM Stereo System with Navi
Hi, I'm planning to use mp3 player (possibly iPod) with TSX OEM stereo system with Navi and have the following questions:
Question 1
How's iTrip sound quality via FM?
Question 2
If I want to connect iPod directly to the OEM stereo system with Navi to get better sound quality, what's the best way of doing that? Please point me to any articles, sites where I can buy the hardware, wires, ... etc.
Question 3
If planned to hardwire directly to OEM stereo system with Navi, can I still use those buttons on the steering wheel to control iPod (play forward, backward, ... etc)?
Thanks for your help. I appreciate that.

1) Don't use the iTrip or any FM modulator, they are really really bad
2) You'll need an AUX input. Blitzsafe makes one with the Navi unit considered, so it has a Y cable harness to plug into the headunit, and then for the navi cable to plug into

3) Using just an aux-input like the Blitzsafe wont allow steering wheel or any headunit controls for fast forwarding, chanign track, pausing, etc. To get those abilities you'll need a unit called the IceLink. Currently they don't make a model that supports the Navigation units, although a seperate Honda Y adapter can be purchased that will allow it to work. Look in the IceLink thread for more information on this.
