Help me decide what to do..

Ok. Im creating a system for da pimp ride. I have 2 12'' Kicker Comp VR's on the way (new model) [good choice?]

Ok. Now. I need an amp.
Im wanting to go with something around 600w or higher.
I think the subs are 400w each, 'i think'.
Any ideas? Would i just need a 2-channel amp?
Im using stock bose system for now, and stock head unit.
How about the Kenwood eXcelons, or Song XPLOD's (Are those any good for subs?)

Ok. Now for the enclosure.
Im wanting to maybe port the subs up throught the back shelf. (i know this isn't that great of an idea, but i figure since my car's resell value isn't very high, then who cares...) How would that sound? Streeteffectz, ever done this before and know how it sounds? I want a little rattle as i can, inside the car and outside. With this type of enclosure, would it pound outside 'da pimp ride' ?

Any information will help. Im willing to accept ANY suggestions also.

The type of enclosure you are speaking of I did in a 99TL already. You will get A LOT of bass out of it if done right. The port will need to be tuned to get your SQ accurate. You won't have any vibrations from the trunk at all being that the air will be firing into the back window.

As for amps....I'd go with a JL 500/1, PG ZX600ti, Xtant or Zapco.

How many channels should i get on the amp?

The manual for the kickers said that they like to use sealed enclosures, but u could use ported ones as well. What type of port material should i use? (PCP, Aluminum, etc?) I really wanna port them up throught the back shelf. I want it too look clean too, not cheap like my car is some POS Honda

And who makes the PG zx600ti.
Wouldn't i need more than just one channel? [jl 500/1]
