I'd like to hear from some people who have heard both sets. I drive an '02 CL-S and I'm going for something thats gonna get, loud, crisp, and have some nice midbass to keep up with my 1000 watt sub in the trunk. I'm pretty much set on these two so someone help me out!

I haven't heard either one but elduderino (one of our vendors and our local audio guru) loves the DLS UP6.

DLS UP6 are great. I didn't dynamat the doors though and only feeding 80wrms per speaker but they still sound great. You have to improvise a little to fit the tweets though and cut some plastic off the stock spacer to fit the midbass drivers properly. No issues with mounting depth whatsoever. They play loud and clear at any volume. It's just when it's too loud you can't hear much clarity because ears hurt. I have not heard them distort at all

Get the Diamond Audio D9s and 200 watts RMS to each side. You will have great midbass, and smooth highs...
