Help make the right decision the first time

I have a 01 cl type-s i want to put a indash, replace the stock speakers and add a sub.Nothing to extravagant, but it still cost alot and i'm having this done at a local shop. Please bare with me and excuse all my links.lol

This is what i came up with for the indash.

Alpine INA-W910BT
http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAu...A-W910.aspx130
or
Pioneer avic-z130BT
http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAu...IC-Z130BT.aspx

Are there pro's and cons for these units?
Should i go for a unit without gps and use the gps off my iphone?

This is what i came up with replacement speakers

polk db6501 6.5 components(front)
http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAu...io_db6501.aspx
polk db691 6x9's (rear)
http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAu...dio_db691.aspx

This is what i come up for sub

jl audio 10W6
http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAu...10RG-W6v2.aspx
or
re audio 8's
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...io-REX8D4.html

I have a jl 300/4(75x4) that i can use on the highs or run the highs off the radio.I can also use the punch 300 i have or buy a jl 500 off CL.

the shop said he would suggest

the indash

eclpise avn-726E
Amazon Amazon

and for the replacement speakers

memphis mclass 15-MC62 6.5 componets(front)
http://www.ebay.com/itm/15-MC62-MEMP...ht_4271wt_1037

memphis mclass mcs69 6x9 (rear)
http://www.ebay.com/itm/15-MCS69-MEM...ht_6139wt_1037

We havent talked about sub and sub amp yet.

Instead of making multiple post on all this individually.i thought one big post would be better.I hope somebody can make since of all this i threw togather.

+1. And also what are you trying to achieve with the audio setup, excluding the headunit? What music do you listen to? There are much much better choices for speakers and sub. For sub, first comes to mind idq v3.

I'm up for suggestions. My goals is just a well rounded setup.I'm not really dead set on anything as of yet.I did go to the shop yesterday and listen to the memphis mclass he had on his sound board and they sound alot better than the polk's.

Ill be honest, i have not heard these in person but a few people on other forums whose opinions i respect have stood by these hard.. in terms of value/$ midbass and tonality.

As for the sub, much like my previous post, this comes to mind:

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...%5BIgnore%5D=1

Btw, Eclipse makes the best double din HU's IMHO. They have their TRUE 5v preouts much like their single din HU's..This provides your amp (s) with a very clean signal. I would seriously look into this product as opposed to Alpine and Pioneer.

i love my pioneer deck and it looks really clean in the car.
I would recommend boston accoustics anything especially speakers , had them in my ford and it makes bose sound like crap. unfortuantely they were all 6x8 so they dont have a place in my cl.
Subs rockford fosgate, but ive heard good stuff from jl.
I have a hifonics amp from frys, 1000w for 200$, very happy with it it doesnt even get warm bumping it maxxed out for an hour.
Let us know how yours turned out.
