Help With Kenwood Dbledin

I got a big problem. I am trying to install a Kenwood DoubleDin 7015. And the kit I got from streeteffectz dont let the head unit line up with the screws. Is there something else that I need or what am I doing wrong. I am almost done. I just need to screw everything back in. Thanks for any inputs.

I've always wanted to say this:

I don't have any idea of what's happening, so I don't have any idea what to tell you...

I must have forgot to put the diagram into your package too, my apologies. Those two small blocks that I have labeled "driver out" and "passenger out" are just that, drive and passenger side. You need to mount them with the words facing towards the doors. They are 5/8" spacers and space the faceplate the exact distance out from the metal housing that is part of the car so it lines up with the rest of the dash.

Also, here is where you drill the hole - the black dot you see, lined up with the "D" on both sides, and right on the edge of the curve:

Those two 5/8" spacers that were in the box are to be either screwed in or epoxied. They are exactly the distance the faceplate needs to be spaced out.

Ron, should I drill the same holes when mounting the HU after receiving the trim?

Thanks.

LOL, you need to drill a hole in the wood BIGGER than your screw. We always expoxy it in, it's easier that way, but we use a hot glue (the black stuff) so it doesn't come loose in the summers, and it can be removed pretty easily if something needs to be changed out

Probably not because we are doing yours with the metra kit, so the unit should already line up with the factory holes. By the way, I molded the surround in already so it will be ready to ship in a day or so. THANKS again!
