help with HU wiring pls **pics inside**

i have a 2006 acura tsx with navigation:
i have a head unit sony xava1 flip screen dvd player:
this is the wiring in back:

My questions: Before i ask i would like you guys to know that i did an install of this Head Unit in my 2000 civic si and made everything work fine. Now being that i would like to keep my stock changer and add this HU as my dvd player im confused and might be making this alot harder than it really is.....

I would like to keep full functionality of my 6disc stock acura cd changer. I also have a amp and sub for the trunk .
How with the pics and wiring shown can i make this work in the tsx? I would like the sony Hu to play my dvds and plan on getting doms dvd to nav to make the nav screen play whatever the sony is: Do i have to connect the speaker wires from the HU to the stock radios harness or can that be bypassed being i have alot of audio rcas such as the sub out mono for the subs to recieve signal?

In the first pic you can see the back of my sony xava1 7inch flip screen dvd mp3 blah blah player.. both the wiring and the wirng harness .

Pic 2 is the wiring harness minus the speakers wires.
Front L + R rcas Rear L + R rcas
ant remote 0.1a
amp remote 0.3a
red = ignition
orange /white = illumination
the yellow & black going to a fuse is the ground and the constant 12v
the green is for parking brake
the purple is a protection device to back lamp lead of car

Pic 3 (sorry for bluriness) is the wiring comming from back of HU
u cant see- xm ready bus port and the antenna plug
There is :
from top to bottom
rear monitor out (a/v)
aux 3 (video)
sub out mono (audio red & white)
aux 2 (a/v)
the aux 1 is located in the front of the unit / its says a/v in and looks like a headphone jack.

If i left anything at all out just ask and ill post ill be up most of the night trying to figure out exactly what has to be done...

thanks to anyone who inputs anything that will help.......

I'm not sure, but I don't think you can wire it into the stock system without removing that system.

how would the sony piece function? if it's strictly for video and you are less picky about the audio so long as it plays through your stock speakers, i would do the following. decide where you are going to install the sony unit and wire up power, ground, ignition and the safety wires required for video playback. buy an adapter cable to convert your changer port into an aux input (is this possible, i don't know). then run an rca to feed sound from the sony to the oem headunit.

i don't have a tsx, let alone a H/A now, so i don't know much about your car. i was giving you the basics. if there is an existing aux input, you can get the appropriate cable to transition from the sony rca output but this wouldn't look too pleasing. if you want a cleaner install, get an adapter like the soundgate offerings that installs behind the dash. it transforms the existing (molex?) connector into common rca ends. you would hit the appropriate button on your radio until changer appears on the lcd. when it has done so, audio from your sony should play through the oem headunit and out the stock speakers. question now, does it have a changer port on the back (you should see a button on the radio)?

yeah i got the rca to 3.5 jack and bought 2 (2 male to 1 female) connectors. From help ::: im gonna run the front & rear L + R to the connectors then to the adapter into 1/8 jack connecting to the aux in in the center console. Right now looking for wire harnesses but cant seem to find one for the oem integration for the 06 tsx.. Not too keen or knowledgable on wiring to the fuse box and dont want to start splicing into the stock either so right now figuring out what the hell to do
need:

power
ignition
illumination
remote

Do a search for 'soundgate AUXIN' or 'AUX3', something along those lines. It's the type of connection that StanMan originally described, many people here have used it (not myself though or I'd know the name of it). It plugs directly into the HU, not using the AUXIN 3.5mm jack in the center console. It will allow you to connect any audio source as if you had the OEM mp3 player installed.

Couldn't tell ya, don't use either. I've seen a few posts concerning noise with the console AUXIN, but otherwise I don't see much of a difference. But I wouldn't necessarily, as I don't use it, just letting you know it's out there.

Sorry, didn't see this thread until now.

The Soundgate AUX3 in is solely a audio source selector. It doesn't have the connector to interface into the factory CD changer AUX/CD changer port. So you would still have to buy the SNHOND3 or similar product seperately.
http://www.logjamelectronics.com/soundaux3.html

Basically, your current idea sounds good. Mount the Sony in the center console and have the FRONT audio output go into the 3.5 mm AUX port in the middle console. When you get your NAV2DVD convertor and have it hooked up, you'll connect the yellow rear monitor VIDEO out of the Sony to the video input of the NAV2DVD. This will provide video to the Nav screen, and you'll have the audio by switching to the AUX input on the factory stereo and listening to the Sony HU.

Let me know if you have more q's. You can send me a PM too. I don't always check this section. Good luck!

AWESOME...this was my next question ....--> right now i have the front and rear L+R going to the rcas adapter then to the center console..So it was all about the domsdvd unit audio connection now. Your saying to disconnect the rear L+R and connect that to domsdvd unit?.. If this is correct then that pretty much does it other than the adjustments i have to make on the amp with the db's and frequencies..

wait cause i have just a video plug from the sony that can go to the dvd unit and audio is already run so i think i can just connect that if im not mistaken

hold up now im confusing myself..cause thats the aux 3 plug from the sony so i would have to change the mode to aux 3 instead of 2 whcih its on now ..but there is a video plug on the aux 2 so i can just use that..

----> just like me to make th0ings harder than they really are..lol

Doms unit has nothing to do with the audio. Dom's unit is only for video. You plug the yellow RCA from "Rear monitor out" plug into the video input on DOM's unit. Then turn on the Dom's unit and you will see video on your screen.

Now for the audio part. If you already the SONY hooked up to your AUX input, then you just simply switch to the AUX input on the factory stereo. Now you should be able to hear the Sony DVD players sound.

Also, you don't need to combine the signal of the front and back outputs. Since they are outputing the same sound. You only need either the front or back set of RCAs. Or the white and red RCAs that are marked for the rear monitor output.

I just realized what you're talking about with the AUX on your SONY Deck. Those AUX cables are INPUTS, for like a PS2, Xbox, etc. They will not output any sound or video. I'm guessing the AUX3, would be used for a rear view camera since it only has single yellow plug.

The outputs on that deck are "FRONT L-R, REAR L-R, and rear monitor out. Those are the only RCA's that output sound. So you want to hook up the RCA to 3.5mm headphone plug cable to one of those pairs of RCA outputs.
