Help With DVD Player Install

Hey wasup guys...i bout me this DVD player and i was wondering...were do i hook up the Memory Wire?....do i hook it up to a constant?,,,or ACC?....

If i were to tap into the Stock HU...would i connect the memory wire to A10 and the power to A2?

Memory means Constant, so, yes.

Hope the fuse likes it though.

can u suggest where else i can tap these wires into?

Constant should be fine - usually no draw there.

For switched, first, check the current draw of the DVD player. If it has a 3A fuse I would go ahead and catch the HU switched power. If it's a 5A I would consider it. If it's a 10A I would not consider it, and I would either catch it at the steering column from the key, or I would make a switched relay and run power from the battery (which I am not expecting you to do).

Do you have a voltmeter? Having the diagram is good, but having a voltmeter is better.

naaa i dont have a voltmeter
here are the specs

Supply Voltage: 12V DC (11V-15V), Negative ground
Current Consumption: Less than 2A

both of the wires have a built in fuse...i dunno wha kinda fuse tho

OK, what's the fuse size on each wire? If each wire has a 3A fuse then I'd do what you said before (with the caveat that I don't recommend ANYONE EVER connect wires without testing them with a voltmeter first...)
