I have a Kenwood touch screen head unit with an ipod adapter already connected. I was wondering if there is a way to convert/connect the ipod adapter to another adapter so I can have a AUX output and I could connect it to my blackberry and listen to Pandora. Please, if this is possible then help me out. Thanks.

 

It would help if you gave us a model number rather than "Kenwood touch screen head unit"

 

It would also help to know the model number of the Ipod adapter you are using. It looks like the adapters on the current models use a USB input for the Ipod. There isn't a way through the Ipod adapter. However your head unit does have an AV input. Why not use that? You will probably need an RCA to head phone adapter.

 

I just wanted to avoid taking out the head unit to add another cable. Can you send me links for the necessary items ill need. Like the AV input, RCA and head phone adapter? Thanks a lot Steven, your very helpful.

 

Actually the AV input is built in, but will be on the back of the unit. I'm only assuming it is an RCA type of input as that is the most common and we don't deal with Kenwood at work. So ill basically know once I pull out my head unit. Is this Stinger cable good or there is better cables I can go with?
