help

if i want to put subs in my trunk do i need to get rid of the bose headunit? also is there anyway that i can keep the regular speakers going on the bose amplifier and just run the subs off a different amp???

Yes, you can add a sub, and leave the stock system just like it is.

Easiest way to do it is to use an amp with speaker level inputs on it and simply tap the rear speaker leads for the input signal.


Many have used Infinity's Basslink for its easy installation and compact size, if you don't need bone-jarring bass. Or you can do a separate amp and sub if you prefer.

There are other ways to wire the new amp in, but that is the easiest and will sound pretty darn good.
