heating/AC relocation

heating/AC relocation
has anyone ever relocated the heating and AC controls to the bottom byt the stock head unit to put a navigation screen up top where it's easier to glance at? I would put it down by the head unit but I don't wanna look that far away from the road just to see where the hell i'm going.
