Headunit...need opinions

my girfriend decided she wants to get me a new HeadUnit for my graduation and i need some suggestions......the only thing is that it has to be around $300 give or take like 80 bucks...oh yeah thats without install.....thanks...

What do you want it to do? Single CD? XM radio? CD changer or control one? MP3? Blah blah blah...

I would say...Pioneer, Kenwood, Panasonic, Clarion...and maybe Alpine and Eclipse...

for SQ go for eclipse they are sound imagzine. i got my eclipse deck CD5441 about 2 months, works great, no skippp, play CD record well. ALPINE, KENWOOD, PIONEER and CLARION are good deck too.
