Question Headrest TV's

I want to add Headrest TV's to my TSX but the stock headrests are way too small to fit any decent size TV. Any Suggestions? Does anyone know if the headrests from other Acura cars/suvs will fit in the slots from the TSX?

Also, I got a quote from a local car audio shop to change the stock navigation screen to view DVD's. He said $700!! Does this sound right??

Please let me know!

Acura Canada sells a DVD entertainment kit with a flip-down LCD screen mounted behind the sunroof. Depending on your location, maybe your local dealer can get it for you. Sounds a lot less intrusive than modding both headrests.

navigation screen to view DVD. DVD screen headrests,What's the difference.. do think the peoples who sit in the rear seat can see much better if in navigation screen?
.. And if install it in the navigation screen, you as a driver can keep your eye on the road all the time? only way is go for flip-down LCD screen mounted behind the sunroof, if size is lager then the one in headrest . for your driver safty, and your passenger safty gor for that one.

The Flip down DVD system is a US option as well. I have it in mine and it works great.

I don't know bout you but I'm not driving a TSX to be a cheuffeur. Why even give others the luxury when you're behind the wheel. Just my 2 cents.

I agree...I just think that headrest TV's look sick and it'll add value to the car and everything

You know that many members here (including myself) have the avelectronics unit that allow playing dvds on the nav screen, right? My PS2 sits under my seat so i can show music concert dvds on the nav screen...

I don't have pics of my setup but they can be found on the web. And the point in having it is to keep the kids happy on trips. In my opinion having view of a TV by the operator while driving is asking for an accident.
