ok here is my problem. about 5 days ago i very cautiously followed the instructions on this websites "FAQ's" page on how to be able to have the fog lights on with only the parking lights. well yesterday i noticed this little problem and i wanted to know what the hell is wrong w/ my car and if anyone can help me. I took it to a bigtime acura dealer here in miami and they couldnt figure out either why my car was doing this but i did not tell them about the little "remodifiction" that i had done, they told me to come back on monday so that we can call the Acura Technical Line because they had no idea of what is going on.... OK here whats going on... I have a 2003 tl type -s ..i leave the low beam h.i.d. lights on .then i press the lock button on the keyless entry to lock my car then after a few seconds the lights turn off automatically.but when i repress the lock button to just confirm that the car is locked one light flases ok But the passenger side hid light just flickers..its annoying as hell and the car only has 1500 miles..can this be haapeneing from the little "rewiring" crap that lets me drive w/ only my fogs and parking lights...oh yeah but when i unlock the car the lights are perfect..aaaa help...

 

everyone's car is like that. when i first saw it, i flipped out. i think its due to the fog light modification.

yo guys thanks for the quick replies...have u guys had any problems with your cars electrical system or anything like that ..cause im pretty "nervous" if weird things like this are gonna start showing up....today im gonna remove the connections and return it to theway it came stock and see if the flickering continues...can this modification void my warranty?????? ill keep u guys up do date..

 

yo wussup... im from miami too. anyways... i think that the fog light mod will void the warranty just for anything concerning the fogs and maybe the headlights. either way... if i were you, i would put it back to the way its supposed to be.

 

even if you dont put it back to the way it was, its a hard mod to find, and can easily be hidden by using electrical tape or heat shrink tubing up to the connector...
