HDD/Audio Issue/bug/problem??

Hi all, I'm hoping someone can help me here. I have a 2010 ZDX and I'm having an intermittent problem while listening to music on the internal harddrive. Everything is stock and I have not made any changes to the system at all.

The issue arises when I have the audio system set to the HHD (internal harddrive) and I want to play the loaded songs at random "RANDOM ALL TRACKS". When I push up on the joystick to go to "MUSIC SEARCH" the system responds with
1. a double beep and then
2. a pop up message that reads "Generating Voice Recognition commands......." and
3. the systen reads the above message aloud.

After these 3 things happen the system goes back to the screen I was currently on and continues to play the current song. If I push up on the joystick again the same thing happens. Sometimes this goes on 5-8 times before it actually goes to the search screen where I can then push down on the joystick to "RANDOM ALL TRACKS" or play the songs random. Sometime the system moves from screen to screen correctly. so it is definitly an intermittent issue.

This is extremely frustrating - Has anyone else seen this and been able to fix it?

This problem started months ago and I took it in to have it looked at. The service team was great and was able to see it happening. They replaced the radio and the harddrive. It took me about a month to reload all my music and now the issue has come back again. I can't believe I could have 2 faulty harddrives. It seems like it must be something else????

Thanks for any thoughts you have on this. I posted this in the audio section because I thought many of the cars might have the same audio system and maybe someone else has had the same problem. If you have other suggestions as where it might be useful to post this question - I'm all ears.

Thanks!
