has anyone had a problem with their stock
has anyone had a problem with their stock speakers after putting in a headunit?
This guy told me ill blow them out cuz they will get too much power.

They should be fine. I actually powered my rear stock speakers with 75 watts from a Memphis Belle until I replaced them with Diamond M351i's. They never gave me a bit of problems.
they will be fine, i actually put a 4channel (i think it was 4x50) on just the stock speakers to see what would happen, and the didn't and still haven't blown (of course now they can't since they are sitting in my tool box at work).
Moral of the story: put in your radio, wake up the full potential of the stock speakers, be amazed how much better your music sounds since you don't have the crappy bose eq limiting reproduction.
Factory 2000 to 2003 TL speakers are usualy 2 ohm's, hince why they sound louder. you may need to wire them in series if they are cutting out. having them cut in and out is a good indecation that the cd player is going onto a protection mde.
