Hello fellow Acura users, I was hoping you could tell me if anyone knows if a 1999 TL 3.2 can use the DVD GPS system just by switching the "brain" in the trunk, or if both units (screen and brain) can be replaced.

As far as the CD player goes. The tape solution is elegant, but I would still like to play burned CDs, is it worth the money getting a 2002-2003 6-disc player just for that?
