as soon as the unit powers up theres a popping type noise from the speakers. its pretty loud, and it happens even if the volume on the deck is set to zero. its like a deep pop...anyone know why this would happen? I had these same amps hooked up to a different deck before this one and this noise didnt happen.

anyone know what this could be from?

my bad, I was lookig for this thread to help you before. It's the amp protection. Some amps have a delay so it takes while t power up, but I guess yours come on right away, I'll find out what you can do at workk later.
