I bought things in stages, then installed all at once. This way it doesn't kill your budget, but you only have to take the car apart once...

another question,i'm debating if i could go with something like the infinity co-axial speakers with the "unipivot" tweeters and aim upward.has anyone tried that?

Assuming they're amped, the components will be better, due to the separate crossover network. Just look for comps with a tweeter that pivots in it's mounting cup and you'll basically get the same effect...

mattastick, since you say its better to get speakers with separate crossovers.Would the Infinity Kappa 63.9i and Infinity Kappa 62.9i work?

Looks like they would work. Personally, I don't like the way Infinity speakers sound, but if you do, then go with them. Just make sure to try and give them a listen before you buy...
