To those who completed the project,

Sup. I live in Huntington Beach and I have Stan helped me install the gex box. We are pretty much done with all the connections but we can't seem to get it working. We don't know what's wrong with it? All the connections are looking good. Stan suggested that I should find someone with a pioneer screen and hook it up to the gex to see if there is anything at all on the screen. Paul has his pionneer screen but it's not working. Is it working now Paul? Is there anyone else that lives in Orange county area that has the pioneer screen I could use for testing? Also, I think I might try to reconnect all the wires just to make sure that all are hooked in properly. Is there any suggestions on what I should concentrate on? I am pretty much clueless on what to do now?

 

I've installed it before, did you use the 5V from the gex itself or from a voltage regulator method? That was one problem that I saw. The other one was the IR sensor wired wrong. Did you hook up Vss an Vout to the right pins? Hope this helps. You should not have to use a pioneer screen to see if it works.
