Getting set to upgrade the Z

I have gotten:

Pioneer DEH-P960MP w/ aux in cable for iPod and xm tuner/adapter/antenna;

Phoenix Gold 200.2 amp to drive front speakers;

Focal 165K2P's (fronts only); and,

Infinity Basslink.

I know what you're thinking . . . . the Basslink was the easiest and most efficient way to upgrade the bass in my Roadster based on space constraints. If I had a coupe, I would have used a sub and separate amp.
What do you guys think? Oughta sound great and cannot wait.

It sounds like it doesn't matter what we think, since you've already done it (and are already defensive about it : ) ...

But I think you should jettison that Basslink off of the pier and have StreetEffectz make a fiberglas box that looks stealth with an 8 or 10 in it. I'm not a huge fan of that HU, and not of the amp either, but that sub is the main weakness.

not sure where the sub box would go that you're speaking of??? It's a roadster and there isn't spare room as I don't want to fill the truck up w/ components/amps.

they mold fiberglass to a corner, and that way the sub enclosure fits a "mold" of your car.....esp with a sealed 8 or 10, it shouldn't be a problem
