let's just say like a dvd player that would plug into the wall at home....i just want a basic setup (but clean...i dont want the dvd player hanging out anywhere) maybe mount it inside the centerconsole or in the rear center console...anyone think a dc/ac inverter would work for extended periods of time? thanks

Any inverter from "tripplite" will work perfectly...what kind of DVD player is it? A portable or something? You could do things like this:

-or-

-or-
