I like it. Alot nicer than the S7 gauges.

But @ Scout, If you post unfinished pics, you will most likely not get good comments. That's why most of us wait and post pics up later.

^well it was a good choice you made then. TBH i was expecting you not to deliver on the pics, so it was a surprise for me to see them up today

...and the one thing that bugs me would not being able to get to redline on those guages
but a k swap will make everything better

You're damned if you do, damned if you don't on this forum. If you post about a project with no pics, you get railed for not posting pics. If you post pics of something that's not finished, everyone knitpicks the details and criticizes. Welcome to 1GCL

I like it. I love to see someone doing custom like that - not enough of that here.

It's easy to keep it "safe" - something that everyone else has already done and in general everyone likes. We're all guilty of it, some of us are just more guilty of it than others. When you do something original, it may be hit and miss with other people's opinions, but at least it's original. Props.

cocoa is still up there with his lexan windows, oh and kumar's if he'd ever post pics. But this RSX/CL hybrid should be quite unique when it's all together

Yeah guys I have been into cars for a longtime. Took about 8 yrs off for Uncle Sam in the Army. This is my wifes car and she will only drive a standard shift, how great is that!! I am doing the K swap with the full intention of boosting it as well.

The RSX gauge swap will work in a 3.0 CL as well. Any other questions feel free to ask. Thanks for all the comments.

does the odometer work on it since the CL's is analog and the RSX is digital?

Yep. Sure does...Also if some of you dont want the 02-04 RSX gauges I also can help with the same swap, just using the white faced 05-06 gauges. Just 4 wires to swap.

no matter what chassis you have you will need custom mounts to be fabbed for your K20 to sit in. Also if you are serious about this I would look into a K24 block with K20 head for some impressive tq for a heavier car like a cl.
